Hi, I’m Liz

I’m a qualified accountant and ICF-accredited coach, and I help small business owners to design successful businesses that are as unique as they are.

You don’t have to squeeze yourself into anyone else’s idea of what your business ‘should’ look like – I can help you craft a work-life that actually works for you.

My Story

I spent 16 years helping £multi-million businesses to make and implement decisions. I became very good at wading through a sea of information to quickly find the key pieces needed to make decisions.

I found the most enjoyment from working with others to simplify and solve complex problems. And along the way, I mentored individuals, ran teams in multiple countries and delivered major change projects.

I love collaborating with people. Empowering, energising and teaming-up with others has always been at the heart of my career. And it became increasingly clear, that’s where my passion lay.

I spent many evenings helping my colleagues to work out what to do next with their career and side-hustles. And I enjoyed it so much that in 2019 I took the leap and left my corporate job to focus solely on doing that.

I decided to get a coaching qualification because I thought it would be reassuring to potential clients, and I wanted to make sure I was offering the best solutions that I could be. And it sounded interesting – I love learning new things.

But I absolutely wasn’t prepared for how much I was going to learn!

There’s a real skill in holding a calm, supportive space that enables people to work out what they truly want, rather than you imposing your idea of what’s best onto them.

The course consisted of 125 hours of training – learning the theory and then practising techniques on each other. And to get ICF accredited, I also had to clock up over 100 paid hours of coaching. So, by the time I qualified in June 2021, I’d had a lot of experience!

I believe:

There’s no point designing a business that, on paper, will make you lots of money, if you then don’t want to get out of bed each morning.

Z

You absolutely can have a business that suits you – the hours, the money and the work that you love to do.

I don’t believe in:

Q

Pre-conceived ideas about what you ‘should’ do or ‘six-figure models’ to shoehorn your business into.

What can I do for you?

I love helping people to understand themselves and embrace their unique skills, so that they can evolve a business that really energises them. I offer you a calm, supportive space to help you make decisions that are right for you.

Some of the ways I can support you are:

=

Motivation

We are all motivated differently, and by learning how to work with our own internal motivators (rather than trying to will ourselves to be or act differently) we can make our lives so much easier and more productive. You can find out more about Motivational Maps here.

=

Strategy

Fundamentally, you need a strategy that’s going to create a business that works for you – there’s no point having an amazing Instagram game, if what you’re marketing won’t bring you the working life that you want.

My signature Business Strategy Pitstop programme will help you to design a business that gives you the life you yearn for » Doing work you relish, earning money you enjoy, within the hours you’re cheerful to devote to work.

Mindset

If you already know what you want to do, but something keeps getting in the way, then we can spend some 1:1 time together figuring out what’s stopping you and finding a way to make it happen. Find out more about 1:1 Mindset coaching here.
